As you travel north of Maui Hawaii, the shoreline is
interspersed with pockets of sandy beaches along the Kahana and Napili Bay
areas, ending in Kapalua. Kihei is known for
its three beach parks and family priced accommodations which are mostly Maui
Hawaii condos.
A drive through East Maui Hawaii takes you through Upcountry
Maui Hawaii, cowboy and farming country, to the spectacular heights of
Haleakala, a dormant volcano. This area is dotted with bed and breakfasts. The
Road to Hana along the north shore is a scenic coastal drive, taking you to the
quaint little village of Hana, home to the renowned Hotel Hana Maui Hawaii and
several bed and breakfasts.
Just to the south of Kihei is the Wailea area, home to the Four
Seasons, Grand Wailea, and other luxury resorts and condos. Maui Hawaii is home
to gorgeous beaches abound. Just 35 years ago this area was a desert. it's
perennially sunny, with less than a foot of rainfall per
year.
