Maui
Weather
Maui
has the perfect weather for your tropical vacation!
Maui
weather is very moderate, with a fluctuation of approximately ten degrees
between winter and summer temperatures. Maui weather winter brings day
time temperatures in the upper seventies, spring in the low eighties,
and summer/fall in the upper eighties to low nineties.

Like
Maui the weather on all of the Hawaiian islands is very consistent, with
only moderate changes in temperature throughout the year. This is possible
due to the year-round warm sea surface temperatures, which keeps the overlying
atmosphere warm as well. In practical terms there are only 2 Maui weather
seasons here: the summer months (called Kau in Hawaiian) that extend from
May to October and the winter months (Ho'oilo) that run from November
to April. The average Maui weather day-time summer temperature
at sea level is 85 degrees F. (29.4 C) while the average Maui weather
day-time winter temperature is 78 degrees (25.6 C). Night-time temperatures
are approximately 10 degrees F. lower.

Maui
water temperatures range from seventy-five to low eighties. The biggest
question is usually "When does it rain in Maui ?". There's no
great answer for this. Like anywhere else, we can get a storm at any time.
In general Maui weather, winter Kona storms will bring rain to the South
Shore. Late summer, fall and winter will see some nighttime or early morning
rain on the North Shore. This contributes to the lush green foliage that
makes the area so popular. We live in Haiku (on the North Shore) and still
need to water our lawn, proving that it doesn't rain as often as some
people will tell you it does. For the most part Maui weather is great!
Maui
weather has basically two seasons: wet (November - March) and dry (April
- October). The high Maui weather temperature is very close to 80 degrees
year-round. Although it rains often on the island, clouds don't usually
stick around long enough to ruin your vacation.
